For the last 10+ years, I have been an HNW and HP Nanny and Maternity Nurse, having many wonderful opportunities to travel with my work as well. I have now set up an agency so I can continue working with families and placing the right childcarer’s with the right families and help create wonderful memories for everyone.

The nannies and maternity nurses we choose to represent us are professional, experienced and committed. Candidates are proud of their previous work with families and studies they have committed to over the years.

All childhood carers have excellent references and must possess an up-to-date police check (DBS) and first aid qualifications.

Live Out Nannies

A nanny should work in partnership with the family, taking responsibility for the safety and development of the children. A nannies specific duties include the children’s laundry, maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, toys and rooms used by the children and, if required, the preparation of the children’s meals. Nannies are also expected to drop off and collect children from schools or nurseries. Other activities such as visits to the swimming pool and library will also be the responsibility of the nanny so as to promote the social and educational development of the children.

A nanny is not normally required to undertake general household duties unless this is specifically agreed within the job description.

Live in Nannies

A Live-in Nanny a minimum of 2 or more years of childcare experience and may also hold childcare qualifications. Live-in Nannies would be living in the family’s home, these positions can either be sole charge where both parents work or shared charge, where the nanny works alongside a parent.

Mothers Help

A mother’s help is often aged between 16-20 and has little or no previous experience of caring for children. Mother’s helpers are not nannies and cannot be expected to take full responsibility for the children unless they take occasional sole charge of older children. A mother’s help will assist the parent(s) with childcare and housekeeping duties. These duties will be carried out under the supervision of the parent. Salaries start at £200 per week gross for 16-year-olds working full time and rise to about £350 per week depending on age and experience.

Nanny/Housekeeper

The role of a nanny/housekeeper differs from the traditional role of a nanny, as the duties are carried out to benefit the family as a whole, rather than just the children. The usual duties of a nanny/housekeeper will include but not necessarily be limited to:

  • General house cleaning
  • Driving
  • Errand running
  • Shopping
  • Family laundry
  • Some cooking/help in the kitchen
  • In addition to the above list of duties, childcare may sometimes be required.
  • Nanny/Housekeeper positions can be either on a live-in basis or a daily basis.

Nanny PA

A Nanny PA will assist with the running of the home, they will be flexible and hands-on however their main duties will involve the children, managing staff and organising the personal and business life of the parents. A Nanny PA would be responsible for taking care of the grocery shopping, organising the family diary, organising and booking holidays, paying bills, school runs, organising children’s activities and parties, homework supervision, children’s shopping (school uniform, sports kit etc.), planning and cooking children’s meals, care for family pets, house sitting, taking care of the home office, dealing with all correspondence, attending meetings on behalf or with the parents and so on.

As a guide…

Live in Nannies: £300 for Junior and up to £700 net per week, or for longer hours.
Live out Nannies:  £500 – £800 net per week or £9 – £15 per hour, please call us for more details.

Live in Nanny – Monaco & New York

A very hands-on family spending the majority of their time between homes in New York and Monaco, is looking for a young, fun and experienced nanny to care for their 5 and 9 years old children. This is a share-role as the family already have a team of nannies in place.

You will be required to have a very organised and mature approach, whilst also being able to engage them in fun and diverse activities whilst not studying – eg sports, swimming, art/crafts and similar. The children speak English predominantly as well as French. Therefore the candidate must be speaking both fluently English and French.

Working hours will vary but will be well rewarded. There are occasions where neither parent is home, and so proxy parent and overnights will be part of the role, sometimes with short notice.

Trust, reliability and flexibility will be key in the role, so if you prefer set working hours etc, this role probably isn’t for you. The role, in terms of time, will involve all nanny related duties including preparing for school, school runs, homework supervision, arranging fun activities as well as taking to/from extra-curricular activities, children’s rooms etc. Other household staffs are employed, so this is a child-focused role only.

Accommodation will be provided when on duties and the hours will typically be approximately 12 hours per day.

Key qualifications:

  • Flexibility is a must for this position as the schedule will change quite often
  • Candidates must be hands-on with full of energy and a keen interest in the children’s education, assisting them in their development and learning with creative play and physical activities.
  • Due to the difficulty with working visas to the USA, and the fact that so much of the year is based there, an EU passport is a must or a joint passport holder (USA and EU) would be ideal.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required

Executive Assistant to CEO – Central London
