Hello Lovelies,

I hope you are well, so my journey in the UAE has now started and its safe to say I have really enjoyed every second so far, I have met some lovely families and friends along with other business women who keep me super motivated {always helpful when you are in a new country} . So I am fully aware how hard it is to move to a new country let alone when you have children, so I have visited, asked around and researched the best 5 places to visit when you have children here in Dubai. I have included the companies information about themselves to make sure I don’t miss out any important information. If I have missed out the ‘Age range’ just click on the link for the company and drop them an email.

I am 100% aware that there are more places but these are my top 5 so far, please comment with any other places I can visit and research for you beautiful expats!

Here we go:

Where – Dubai Mall

Age Range – 3+

Website – http://kidzania.ae/en/WhatisKidZania/TheConcept.aspx

Concept – KidZania provides children and their parents a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids between the ages of four to sixteen to do what comes naturally to them; role-playing by mimicking activities done by adults in real life.

As in the real world, children perform “jobs” and are either paid for their work (as a fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist, beautician, etc.) or pay to shop or to be entertained. The indoor edutainment centre is a city built to scale for children, complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of “establishments” sponsored and branded by leading multi-national and local brands.

KidZania also provides a separate area for toddlers to play in a safe and engaging environment.

Bounce Dubai Trampoline Park

Where – Building #32, 4B Street, Al Quoz 1 – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

Age Range – 3+

Website – https://bounce.ae/dubai/#/

Concept – I am fully aware that I am a child at heart and this place i have a feeling I will be living in whilst I am here, I promise to upload a picture next time so you can all laugh at me thinking I am super cool haha

It is a world where the wall becomes the floor, a slam-dunk is within your grasp and the rules of gravity no longer apply. It takes the rush of getting airborne and adds a bunch of new dimensions – from aerial manoeuvres to slam dunking, wall running and dodgeball warfare. The best part is it doesn’t matter if you’re under 5 or an action sports junkie in training – you’re never too old or too young to have an awesome time.

With more than 100 interconnected trampolines housed within huge, colorful spaces, BOUNCE is a spring-loaded urban playground where hard surfaces are replaced with circus-grade sponge, giant air bags and springs. BOUNCE is also super stoked to be recognized as The Indoor Sport And Recreation Facility Of The Year – 2015 in the entire Gulf Region by Sports Industry Awards (SPIA).

Wild Wadi

Where – Jumeirah Road, Next To Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Umm Suqeim 3 – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

Age Range – Parents discretion – Age and height restrictions apply on the slides {Free entry for in-house guests from Jumeirah Hotels!}

Website – https://www.jumeirah.com/en/hotels-resorts/dubai/wild-wadi/

Concept – This has to be everyones go to when you land in Dubai, it is definitely one of the main attractions for children {and adults haha}.

Located in Dubai and situated in front of the stunning Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi offers 30 rides and attractions for all the family. Wild Wadi is themed around the tale of Juha, a known character from the Arabian folklore.

During busy periods, the Jumeirah Sceirah guest’s queue will be closed off 45 minutes prior to the park’s closing time.

Dubai Ice Rink

Where – Dubai Mall Doha St – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

Age Range –

Website – http://www.dubaiicerink.com/en/

Concept – When its 40 degrees outside, why not go Ice Skating! Just make sure you check out their timetable so you know you can definitely get on the Ice! Im not sure if I am capable of Ice Skating without holding on to someone/something for dear life but I would provide good entertainment for everyone haha, this is great way to bond with your little/big ones.

Kite Beach

Where – Umm Suqeim, just off Jumeirah Beach Road, near Jumeirah Beach Hotel – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

Age Range –

Website – http://www.kitebeach.ae

Concept – There is the most amazing outdoor play area for the children here, full of adventures and make believe for the little ones to get super involved!

Who needs smartphones and the latest gadget when you have the great outdoors at your disposal? Welcome to The Journey, an outdoor, manmade, urban forest right on Kite Beach that bursting with waterfalls (don’t forget your swimming costume!), climbing walls, toy fishing, plenty of bridges and wonderful wooden treehouses with thatched roofs for kids to explore.

The Journey is the perfect place for the city-kids of Dubai to get a taste of the great outdoors, in a safe and interactive environment (it is completely gated) and even try their hand at a spot of gardening at the onsite vegetable patch. So if you and the kids tired of malls and identical soft play areas, head to The Journey and let the little ones run around and interact with nature to their hearts’ content!

So these are my top 5 so far! I will be on the lookout for new adventures as I continue on my journey as an Expat in Dubai, I am so excited to be able to help you lovely new expat parents!

If you know of anywhere that I MUST SEE then let me know!

Much Love
